Gombe Class Teacher Supports Maiduguri Flood Victims

A Teacher working with Akko Local Education Authority in Gombe State Malam Shagari Mu’azu has expressed his intention to donate relief materials to victims of flood in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Shagari Mu’azu, made the commitment known while expressing sympathy with the victims of the unfortunate situation which put many households in difficult situations.

 

He added that “Their condition is worrisome considering the economic hardship being experienced, I therefore decided to contribute the little I have to encourage those with low source of income not to hesitate in giving out to those in need”.

Shagari applauded the Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his timely response to the plights of the victims.

 

He equally appreciated the Chairman Northern States Governors Forum and Gombe State Governor Muhammadu lnuwa Yahaya for the donation of one hundred million Naira as relief to the victims.

The items to be donated include spaghetti and cooking oil.
