The Member representing Ganjuwa West Constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Garba Adamu Ganjuwa, has officially flagged off the rehabilitation of the badly damaged Kafin Ma’adaki Road following his intervention with the Bauchi State Infrastructure Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA).
The road, which has been in a state of disrepair for years, has caused significant hardship for motorists, farmers, traders and other residents who rely on it for their daily transportation.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Garba Adamu expressed appreciation to the Bauchi State Government for approving the project, describing it as a direct response to the long-standing concerns of his constituents.
He said the rehabilitation would ease transportation challenges, improve the movement of goods and people, and stimulate commercial activities across the area.
The lawmaker also appreciated the efforts of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, for his commitment to addressing the needs of the people.
Garba Adamu further urged residents to cooperate fully with the contractors to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
Also speaking at the event, the Director General of BASIDMA, Engineer Abdulrahman Mai Auduga, assured residents that the rehabilitation would be carried out in accordance with approved engineering standards to deliver a durable and high-quality road.
He noted that the project would be executed using established engineering standards to ensure the community benefits from a safe and long-lasting road.
Engineer Mai Auduga further appealed to residents to support the construction team and safeguard government equipment throughout the execution of the project.
