The Challenge Found Youth Employment (CFYE), a Bauchi based non governmental organization has challenged the Federal and state governments to bring to an end the current economic hurdles in the country.
Project Coordinator of the group Comrade Abdulwahab Abubakar gave the challenge at a ceremony on Youth and Women Empowerment, Training and Advocacy on Agriculture and Banking Sector held at Double Four International Event Center, Bauchi.
He said “The move became necessary considering the array of challenges affecting Nigerians, hence the need for us to organize the training with a view to empowering young people with skills to sustain life in their various communities”.
Comrade Abdulwahab Abubakar, expressed hope that the training will provide permanent solutions to youth and women in Nigeria to better their future.
In his remarks, the Country Director Follow the Money Nigeria who double as Chairman of Spotlight for Transparency and Accountability Mr. Mu’azu Alhaji Madu, enjoined Nigerian youths to fully participate in decision making processes for good governance.
Alhaji Muazu Madu urged the Bauchi State youths and women who participated in the empowerment training to use the skills to better their lives and that of the society.
Speaking on behalf of the participants, Na’ima Muhammad Giɗaɗo appreciated the Challenge Found Youth Employment for the training, promising to engage in farming system upon completion.
Na’ima also called on governments to provide job opportunities for youths to address restiveness in the society.
About 300 youth and women from six local government areas of Bauchi, Dass, Darazo, Ningi, Tafawa Balewa and Ganjuwa benefited from the training.
