In a special meeting held at Zango Village, the leader of the coalition, Babangida Zango, who is also the Barayan Lere, described the move as commendable.

According to him, “The creation of additional Emirates and District heads would bring governance closer to the people and promote grassroots development”.

Babangida noted that the new emirate would enhance administrative efficiency, promote agricultural activities, and improve access to government programs.

He commended Governor Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir’s administration for recognizing the importance of Lere Community representation in good governance.

Other traditional leaders who attended the meeting, include Muhammad Tukur Sha’aibu Village Head of Zango, Mallam Munka’il Ibrahim Village Head of Kufai; Ibrahim Yari Village Head of Mangas and Sha’aibu Aliyu Hardo, Village Head of Feruji.

According to the traditional leaders, communities of Kardam, Wai (Gori), Boto, Zango, Lere, Mangas, Kufai and others are peace loving people and would continue to be law abiding to foster unity and progress among the people.
