DG Joint Projects Mahmood Yusuf Distributes Motorcycles, Other Equipment to Boost APC Support in Akko

The Director General of the Gombe State Joint Projects Development and Essential Social Services Agency (JPDESA), Builder Dr. Mahmood Yusuf, has empowered women and youths in Akko Local Government Area with valuable trade equipment, cash and agricultural inputs to solidify grassroots backing for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing constituents at his residence in Kumo, the local government headquarters, Dr. Yusuf stated, “I provided these interventions in support of all APC candidates in the upcoming elections, particularly our presidential candidate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; our gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna; our Gombe Central Senatorial candidate, Retired DCP Ahmad Muhammad (Jarman Deba); the member representing Akko Federal Constituency, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo (Mega); and our State House of Assembly member, Hon. Abubakar Muhammad Luggerewo alongside his colleagues.”
Emphasizing his long-term commitment, Builder Yusuf added that “We shall continue to reach out to our people at the grassroots to strengthen support for our great party, the APC, and ensure its success at all levels come 2027.”
The comprehensive empowerment package featured 10 Boxer motorcycles, 20 Butterfly sewing machines, 20 grinding machines, cash grants and 200 bags of 50kg fertilizer.
Urging recipients to make the most of the distribution, Dr. Yusuf called on the beneficiaries to judiciously utilize the items for personal advancement and the broader economic well-being of their families and communities.
Accepting the gesture on behalf of all party flagbearers, the Speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Muhammad Luggerewo, lauded the Director General’s proactive initiative, assuring party faithful that the candidates would deliver effectively if elected.
Echoing this sentiment during their goodwill messages, the Area Manager of the Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority’s Dadinkowa Office, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Bello (Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu); Akko APC Chairman Alhaji Baba Marka; State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources Hon. Sanusi Ahmad Pindiga; Chairman Akko West Local Council Development Area Hon. Bello Sulaiman; and Akko Local Government Chairman Hon. Abubakar Usman Barambu praised Dr. Yusuf as an exemplary pacesetter.
They urged other political office holders to emulate the gesture, noting that such targeted empowerment guarantees widespread political support for the party across the state.
