SEMA Presents Relief Materials To 150 Nursing Mothers In Gombe

As part of its humanitarian gesture to nursing mothers especially those who recently put to bed, the Gombe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) under the leadership of its Executive Secretary Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi has presented some items to one hundred (150) nursing mothers across seven (7) health facilities in Gombe Metropolis.

 

According to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Information Officer, Office of the Secretary to the State Government Joshua ĆŠanmalam, the health facilities include Specialist Hospital Gombe, Zainab Bulkachuwa Women and Children Hospital, Gidan Magani Primary Healthcare Centre, Tudun- Wada Primary Healthcare Centre, Pantami Primary Healthcare Centre, Unguwar Madaki and State Low-cost Primary Healthcare Centres respectively.

Presenting the packed Items which includes; a wrapper, pampas, antiseptic, batting soaps and detergents, the Executive Secretary Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi said “The gesture is in line with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s magnanimity to bring succour to nursing mothers”.

 

He said the present administration under Governor Yahaya cares for nursing mothers in the state hence the gesture to compliment their responsibilities.

Some elated beneficiaries appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and SEMA for the gesture, noting that it was a big relief to them and their families especially at this difficult and hard time. They prayed for Almighty Allah to reward the Governor and SEMA for the gesture.

 

Also speaking Malam Umar whose wife is a beneficiary expressed gratitude to the governor and SEMA for coming to their aid.
