A delegation from ‘Nigerian Youths for Atiku’ (NYFA) has visited the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Gombe State to register its support for strengthened, mutually beneficial democracy.

Speaking during the visit, leader of the delegation and NYFA State Coordinator Patience Isah Fada, said the visit was to identify with the ADC leadership and register their support to the party.

“Mr chairman we are here today to identify ourselves with this great party the ADC, to familiarize ourselves with your active team working round the clock to make ADC louder in Gombe State.”

While assuring the party leaders of NYFA’s continuous support and cooperation, the coordinator said Atiku Youth are ready to work in synergy with the ADC.

“As Youth who believes in the ideals of our leader, the Former Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, we assure you that we are in full support of your plans and initiatives to take this great party to success. NYFA is ready to work with you to rescue our people and democracy in Gombe State and Nigeria.”

Appreciating the party leadership for the warm reception, the pro-Atiku youth group equally expressed readiness to canvas support for the ADC across the 114 wards of the state.

In his contribution the State ADC Youth Leader Abdulqadir Sa’idu Degri, said ADC is a pro-youth party that believes in their capacity for nation building.

“We are the only party that gave out free forms for youth, women and people with disabilities to contest during the last General Elections in all positions they felt interested. And I’m sure we are going to continue on this trajectory.”

Responding, the State Chairman African Democratic Congress Malam Danladi Ya’u, appreciated the Atiku Youth group for identifying with the ADC, assuring that the party’s doors are widely open for fruitful collaboration in the interest of democracy and Nigerians.

“ADC is out to bring about positive change for Nigerian masses. We are out to rescue this nation from selfish and clueless leaders who only put their interest first against the wish of the citizens”. We assure you that we shall only hand over our plags to candidates who have Nigerians and Gombe People at heart, not those whose primary concern was to make citizens’ life more miserable and hopeless.”

Malam Danladi assured the youth that Gombe ADC is ready to work with any group, ready to contribute on the course to emancipate Nigerian democracy.

He added that his team will do everything possible to make ADC bold and successful in Gombe State.
