The 301 Nigerian Army Artillery Regiment General Support Gombe, has welcomed a new Assistant Director Army Public Relations in person of Lieutenant Ugwuoke following the redeployment of the immediate passed acting assistant director Captain Mazinho Attah.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the former acting Assistant Director said “It is with heartfelt regards I convey this message, as the saying goes. ‘Soldier come! soldier go! Barracks still remain!’
It is on this premise, I most humbly inform the house that I have been posted out from Gombe.
Consequently, Lieutenant Ugwuoke will take over from me as the new Assistant Director Army Public Relations for 301 Artillery Regiment General Support Gombe”.
Captain Attah appreciated his service time and experience in Gombe, describing it as “wonderful time working with you all. I pray the good working relations, camaraderie would be extended to him, as he is a very fine officer of the Nigerian Army”.
In his response, the newly posted Assistant Director Army Public Relations Lieutenant Ugwuoke, appreciated his predecessor for setting a solid operational grounds in relating with citizens in Gombe State.
“Thank you very much Sir for laying a great foundation. Gombe, especially 301 AR(GS) will not forget your achievements in a hurry. We wish you the very best in your new assignment”.
He assured to consolidate on the gains of Captain Attah, noting that “Through your continuous support, I shall consolidate on your enormous achievements to foster our goals in the PR”.
