The Folo Dadiya Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar Galadima the 3rd, has appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for creating Balanga South Local Council Development Area.
The royal father made the commendation when he received the leadership and members of the Dadiya Community Development Association (DACODA) during a congratulatory visit on the new development.
He said “His Excellency the governor has put a lasting smile on our faces, we the people of Balanga South, particularly of Dadiya Chiefdom which host the headquarters of the new LCDA at Bambam, we remain ever grateful to him and his administration.”
The Folo said contrary to previous efforts of creating similar development areas that ended in futility, the governor has taken concrete steps to ensuring the sustainability of the new initiative.
While urging the people of Balanga South to embrace the new LCDA with an open mind, the traditional leader charged everyone to contribute their quota to the development of the new LCDA.
Speaking earlier during the visit, the DACODA National Chairman Hon. Yusuf Dogari, represented by the National Secretary Dr Lazarus Joseph Goje, said the team was in Bambam to congratulate the royal father over the new development, noting that “this is a breakthrough that signals not only sustainable, but an all inclusive development to Balanga South”.
He appreciated the royal father’s tireless contributions at all levels that led to the creation of the new LCDA.
While assuring of DACODA’s total support to the new development, the chairman harps for unity and cooperation for the development of Balanga South Local Council Development Area.
In his address, the Chairman Dadiya Elders Forum Hon. Abubakar D. Buba, appreciated all stakeholders that contributed to the actualization of the Balanga South Local Council Development Area, calling for unity amongst various communities of the area.
He charged members of the communities to take advantage of the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise facilitated by INEC, to possess their permanent voter’s card, a step he described as key to bringing democratic dividends at their doorstep.
In their respective goodwill messages, member DACODA Elders Council Elder Shu’aibu Teme, the Chairman DACODA Gombe Branch Friday M. Mairawa and the Chairman Bambam Ward Development Committee Malam Ibrahim Baba, described the creation of Balanga South Local Council Development Area as a breakthrough that Dadiya community will forever remain grateful with.
They maintained that Dadiya has been centre of Balanga South right from previous initiatives on similar creations.
While assuring of total support for the new LCDA, the leaders challenged Balanga South youths to brace up and fully contribute their quota to the new LCDA.
