GOSUPDA Reopen Blockage of Access Road In Wuro Liman

…Reiterates Readiness To Deal With Defaulters

The Gombe State Urban Planning and Development Authority (GOSUPDA) has reopened an blockage of access road by an individual who claimed to have bought the plot from an agent, developed and made it part of his residence.

With quick intervention of GOSUPDA under the leadership and directives of its Executive Chairman Alhaji Bappayo Samanja MauÉ—o the acted quickly and demolished the blockage following a complaint from a good Samaritan in the area.

The Chairman reminded people of the area that the restrictions on any kind of development in Wuro Liman is not lifted talk less of blocking access road or encroaching on right of ways.

The chairman appreciated the whistle blower and promised to keep the entire state in a good shape in terms of development control as mandated by the state Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

He called on the people of Wuro Liman to appreciate the governor for the two kilometer road being not part of the roads being executed in BAP 4, but the Governor in his wisdom extends the two kilometers of road to them, but instead of appreciation and complying with the development control policies some individuals are taking the chance of abusing the privilege.

The Executive Chairman said with strong support from the governor, GOSUPDA has eagle eyes to extract defaulters and has full authority to deal with them.

In their response, people of the area appreciated the state governor for the road, assuring to report any issue to appropriate authorities for proper actions.

On the other hand, the team also inspected projects approved under road construction to ensure compliance by the affected citizens.
