Gombe SSG Receives Newly Posted FRSC Commander, Seeks Synergy To Tackle Road Crashes

The newly posted sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) Gombe State Command Samson Kaura, has on Tuesday paid a familiarization visit to the Government of Gombe State.

This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Information Officer, Office of the Secretary to the State Government

The Secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi received the sector commander on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Government and people of Gombe State.

While welcoming the sector commander, the SSG noted that the new FRSC boss had already hit the ground running especially having participated in the state’s expanded security council meeting chaired by Governor Inuwa Yahaya on Monday.

Professor Njoɗi enjoys the new FRSC Commander to always share the commands perspective with the government adding that a synergy is needed between the corp and the State Government for the smooth operations.

He assured of Governor Muhammadu inuwa Yahaya administration’s continued support to the FRSC, tasking the new sector commander and staff on hard work and dedication to duty.

Earlier speaking, the newly posted Sector Commander, Commander Samson Kaura said they were at the Government House on a familiarization visit, while appreciating the warm reception accorded him and his team.

Kaura appreciated the State Government for its continuing support to the corp and commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his massive infrastructural development across the State.

He thereafter sought for cooperation of the State Government in the corp readiness to ensure road traffic crashes are brought to the bearest minimum in Gombe State.
