Gombe SSG Receives Dogon-Ruwa Community On Thank You Visit

…Reiterates Govt Commitment To People’s Welfare

…Grants Audience To New Commander Federal Fire Service

The Secretary to Gombe State government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njoɗi, says the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya will not develop cold feet towards providing critical infrastructure that will advance the social and economic status of its people.

This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Information Officer SSGs office Joshua Ɗanmalam on Tuesday.

 

The statement said Professor Ibrahim Njodi gave the indication when he granted audience to a delegation from Dogon-Ruwa Community who were at the Government House to express gratitude to Governor Yahaya for taming a monsterous gully ravaging their community.

The SSG praised people of Dogon-Ruwa for identifying with the development efforts of Governor Inuwa Yahaya especially towards taming the decades old monsterous gully and the construction of both western and tsangaya institutions of learning in the community.

 

He describe the policy thrust of Governor Inuwa Yahaya as people’s orientated, stressing the need for Dogon Ruwa people to keep standing in solidarity with the present administration.

The state’s chief scribe further appeal to the people of Dogon-Ruwa to apply caution as the August first plan protest approaches, noting that the sinister motive is aimed at causing chaos in Nigerian.

 

Earlier speaking, the village Head of Dogon-Ruwa Bashir Isa, explained that they were at the Government House to appreciate Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for taming the gullies ravaging their community.

He said the gesture by the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is not only heartwarming but a display of uncommon transformational leadership which equally saw the provision of both modern and tsangaya schools in the area.

 

The traditional ruler also paid tribute to the SSG whom he described instrumental to the development efforts so far recorded in the community.

The Deputy chairman Kaltungo LGA Mohammed Umar Isa, also express gratitudes to Governor Inuwa Yahaya for constantly expressing his milk of human kindness towards the people of Dogon-Ruwa both in the areas of development and appointive positions.

 

In another development, the Secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has stressed the need for synergy between the Federal and the State Fire Service towards the protection of lives and property in State.

 

The SSG stated this when receive the newly posted commander of the Federal Fire Service Gombe State command DCP Suleiman Mohammed Suleiman on a familiarization visit.

 

He assured the newly posted commander of the State Government’s readiness to work in partnership with the Federal Fire Service for the overall benefit of the people.

 

The newly posted commander DCP Suleiman Mohammed Suleiman, express readiness to work in synergy with relevant organisations towards the protection of lives and properties should there be any fire incident in the State.

 

He equally commended the Gombe State Government for constantly assisting the command under his predecessor, expressing the hope that such hands of friendship will be extended to him.
