The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command, Commandant Gyama Gyawiya, has received the newly posted Commissioner of Police of Gombe State, CP Bello Yahaya on a courtesy visit at the Command’s State Headquarters Gombe.

This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the command’s public relations officer SC Buhari Sa’ad.

The CP stated that the purpose of his visit was to familiarize himself with the command, build synergy, and further enhance collaborations between the two security agencies in the state. He emphasized that “No single agency can achieve its mandates alone, hence the need for cooperation”.

In his response, Commandant Gyawiya welcomed the new CP to the state and the command, promising to foster a mutually beneficial working relationship between the NSCDC and the Nigeria Police Force in Gombe State.
