Corps Commander Muhammad Bello Muazu, the State Commandant Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command was honored with a lifetime achievement award of Who’s Who in Africa 2024 in recognition of his immense contributions to African Peace and Security Development by the Times Africa Magazine at the State’s Command Gombe.

While presenting the award, Mr Ejeoma Michael of Times Africa Magazine said, this was made possible after the Advisory Board, Editorial Board and the entire management of Times Africa verified the commandant’s testaments and his achievements in the areas of human capital development, proficiency in administrative matters, tenacity of purpose, public spiritedness and insightful leadership including other new points sought by bureau’s editors, found him eminently worthy of the 2024 Who’s Who award in Africa to be published next month.

A press statement made available to Jewel Times by the command’s Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Saad, said “In his response, the visibly elated Corps Commander Muhammad Bello Muazu appreciated Times Africa for identifying his achievements”.

He dedicated the African Icon Award to the NSCDC Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi for finding him worthy for appointment as a State Commandant.

He also thanked his management team for their support and hard work which stands the command out in ensuring that the mandates of the corps are achieved.
