Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya said members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are equal, and will receive equal rights and treatment regardless of when they join the party.
The governor made this known when the rulling party received into its fold, the former state chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Hon. Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala at his ward, Ɓilliri South.
Governor Yahaya who was represented by the Commissioner for Environment, Water and Forest Resources, Muhammad Sa’idu Fawu, said “With the coming of Hon. Rambi onboard, APC is getting more grounds in Tangale Waja”.
The governor described the development as win for democracy, calling on Barrister Rambi to feel free and fully contribute for the progress of the party.
In his remark on behalf of the State APC Secretariat, Hon. Isiyaku Abdullahi Jarman Akko, said APC is more than happy to have Rambi Ayala to its fold, describing him as game changer in Tangale Waja political arena.
In their goodwill messages, Ɓilliri, Kaltungo and Shongom local government Chairpersons Madam Eglah Idris, Hon. Iliya Sulaiman and Hon. Fatima Binta Bello expressed delight for having Rambi Ayala again, assuring him and his supporters of their total support in taking the party forward.
In their respective addresses while handling the new membership card to Rambi, the APC chairman Ɓilliri Local Government Isiyaka Zakari and his Ɓilliri South counterpart Andrew Nayako represented by his Secretary Yushau Shehu, said APC is home to Hon Rambi, stressing his capacity to make the party victorious at all levels come 2027.
In his remark, Hon. Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala, said “We decided to rejoin the APC to complement Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s efforts in providing dividends of democracy across nook and crannies of the state to our people”.
Hon. Rambi described the governor as the architect of modern Gombe, assuring to support his efforts in taking Gombe State to enviable heights.
The occasion was graced by thousands of supporters, party loyalists and stakeholders, who couldn’t hide their joy to welcome the former State House of Assembly member.
