The State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu has deployed 800 personnel to beef up security across the state for a peaceful Easter celebration.
This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the corps’ Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Sa’ad
Bello Muazu assured the people of the state of adequate security before, during and after the celebration.
The officers and men deployed were drawn from the Operations Department, Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) Disaster Management Unit , Intelligence and Investigations Department, Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear and Energy (CBRNE), Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Protection Department, Anti Vandal Unit and Female Squad at the Command State Headquarters.
Corps Commander Bello Muazu charged the personnel to be professional in the discharge of their duties, with high sense of responsibility and utmost diligence.
He further wished people of the state particularly Christian faithfuls, a happy Easter Celebration.
