The Forum of Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria (FCSON), a leading organization dedicated to promoting participatory leadership par-excellence in Nigeria, has conferred a prestigious award of excellence to Gombe State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, with Command its 2024 Excellence Performance Award as a promoter of Justice and Peace, for his advanced achievements and outstanding performance.
This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the corp’s Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Sa’ad.
Presenting the award, the National Coordinator of the forum, Comrade Chinyere Iwezor, said the commandant was honored based on his professional and experienced contributions that has practically made him the best due to his painstaking efforts, most especially in his selfless service to humanity, accommodative, transparent, cordial relationship with Staff and adequate security network in Gombe State”.
Similarly, the Voice of Northern Nigeria Students (VONNIS), has equally presented an Award Of Excellence to the State Commandant.
Chairman of the students union Ambassador, Mansur A. Wakili, said the commandant was honored with the award for his dedication and partnership in ensuring safety at schools and security in the state.
In his response, upon receiving the awards, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu, acknowledged the contributions of his officers and men who made the award possible. “These awards are symbols of collective effort put forth by my team”, he said.
He appreciated FCSON and VONNIS for recognising his hard work and dedication to humanity.
In a similar development, Forward News Media also presented a Meritorious Service Award to the commandant in recognition of his numerous contributions towards the socio-economic development of Nigeria and service to humanity.
Receiving the award on behalf of the State Commandant, Deputy Commandant of Corps DCC Abubakar Yahaya Muri, appreciated Forward Magazine for acknowledging the commandant’s hardwork and passion for peace and security.
