The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has distributed 60 motorcycles, 65 sewing machines, and 600 bags of fertilizer to members from Akko and Gombe Local Government Areas.

The Representative of Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, who is also the Chief of Staff, Government House, said the gesture comes at the right time as it will go a long way in assisting party officials across the two Local Governments in discharging their duties diligently and efficiently.

The Chief of Staff said the gesture is the true interpretation of dividends of democracy and it is also in line with President Tinubu and Governor Yahaya’s policy.

He appreciated the Governor for providing a good political playing ground to play politics without bitterness.

“the Leader of our party in the State, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, is always encouraging members to look back to the society in such kind gestures”, he said.

On his part, the APC State Chairman Mr. Nitte Amangal, represented by his Deputy Alhaji Baba Abuja, advised the beneficiaries to make use of what they benefited from and not to sell them.

He also called on all politicians, especially political office holders, to emulate Dattuwa Ali’s policy.

The State Organizing Secretary also urged political office holders to embrace such kind gestures as it gives courage to members in doing and protecting the party’s interest within the State.

The distribution included one motorcycle each for the Akko and Gombe Local Government APC Chairmen and every APC Ward Chairman in both areas. Ten motorcycles were allocated to the Dattuwa Dawo Dawo pressure group, with five going to his friends and five to beneficiaries within the Chief of Staff’s office, totaling sixty motorcycles.

Sixty-five sewing machines were also provided for women in both Gombe and Akko, and 600 bags of fertilizer were distributed to beneficiaries for use in dry season farming.
