Gombe State’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially ushered in a new chapter in its communication strategy with the appointment of Murtala Usman Wuro Tale as its substantive State Publicity Secretary.
The transition took place on Monday amid an enthusiastic gathering of party executives, stakeholders, and supporters at the APC State Secretariat in Gombe.
Administering the charge to the newly minted spokesman, State APC Chairman Mohammed Ɗantata Ndus urged him to approach his new role with unwavering dedication and professionalism.
“We have absolute confidence in Murtala’s experience and communication skills,” Ndus stated, describing him as a capable hand poised to fortify the party’s public image and grassroots engagement.
The chairman also used the platform to applaud Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, lauding his strategic leadership and the resounding success recorded by the party in the recently concluded local government elections.
Speaking on behalf of the appointee’s family and associates, Professor Ɗankade expressed profound gratitude to Governor Yahaya for bestowing the responsibility on Wuro Tale.
He assured the party hierarchy of unwavering loyalty and integrity, promising that the new spokesman would work tirelessly to advance the progressive ideals of the APC.
In his acceptance speech, Murtala Wuro Tale pledged to bridge the communication gap between the party and the electorate while projecting the achievements of the current administration.
“I will work tirelessly to enhance the image of our great party across Gombe State,” he declared, committing to absolute loyalty to the leadership and its core values.
He outlined a collaborative framework aimed at harmonizing media strategies, revealing plans to work closely with publicity secretaries across all 11 local government areas to solidify grassroots dominance of the APC.
Murtala reiterated his appreciation to Governor Yahaya and the party leadership, promising a tenure defined by transparency, inclusivity, and a shared vision for the continued growth and electoral triumph of the APC in Gombe State.
