Elders, youths, women and stakeholders of Tangale-Waja have extended a passionate appeal on Hon. Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala to answer the request of Balanga-Ɓilliri constituents and contest for the Federal House Representatives seat come 2027.
They made the appeal during a grand birthday celebration organized by Gamzakin Tangale Solidarity Group to celebrate him on the occasion of his 53rd birthday anniversary.
Extending the appeal on behalf of the groups and stakeholders during the celebration, the Former Chairman Ɓilliri Local Government Area and 2023 NNPP gubernatorial running mate in Gombe State Hon. Hamma Tanimu, said Barrister Ayala is equal to the task considering his capacity and track records in service to humanity, particularly in the Tangale-Waja nations.
“This Thanksgiving will not be his alone, it is for all of us in Ɓilliri and Balanga. We thank God who gave us an outstanding son, hardworking and complete, who we believe that wherever we sent him to, he shall deliver well. Thought this is not a political rally, but we must chip in a little as we are all politicians. A Tangale rules Tangale, Fulani rules Fulani, Jukun represents Hukuns. We spent six years in hard times in Balanga-Ɓilliri. It is not a matter of short term benefits, it’s an issue of our future. We are in this mess because we prioritized some tokens over someone who can represent us better. I want to use this opportunity to call on Hon. Rambi Ayala to accept our call and contest for member Federal House of Representative. It’s not a matter of whether he likes it or not, it’s a matter of who is the right person for the task. When it’s time, we shall show the world that we have made a mistake and we shall correct it”.
He charged the Tangale-Waja nations to compel on the celebrant to answer their call for service.
Also speaking, Former PDP Chairman Kaltungo Local Government Hon. Sama’ila Baba (Mai Takalmin Ƙarfe) described Rambi as rare politician whose righteousness and commitments are second to none.
While discouraging the constituents against money politics, Mai Takalmin Ƙarfe charged Tangale-Waja to rally round the celebrant, expressing confidence that Barrister Ayala will never fail them.
In his goodwill message, the Former Speaker Gombe State House of Assembly Hon. Abubakar Sadik Ibrahim Kurba, cited some of the Rambi’s philanthropic benevolence to humanity, noting that “I don’t know the number of less privileged touched health wise by Mr Rambi, or the number of boreholes he sank not only in Tangale-Waja, but even my constituents from Yamaltu-Deba are living witness from this gesture, and till date, they are still benefiting from the boreholes”.
Also presenting their goodwill messages, the District Head of Komta, Barrister Sa’idu Mu’azu Kumo, Former Member State House of Assembly Shongom East Hon. Lawan Shongom, Senior Special Advisor to the State Governor Sama’ila Obadia, representative of the Village Head of Koɓuwa Marilyn Ankale Yelyel and Hon Umar Kashere. Others were Former Member State House of Assembly Hon. Gandi Solomon, wife of the Former Deputy Governor Abigail David Albashi amongst others all congratulated Barrister Rambi Ayala, while expressing confidence in him at any capacity.
They admonished Tangale-Waja to remain united and patriotic, stressing that “Tangale People have not only capable hands, but the best to represent them at whatever capacity”.
In his remark, the celebrant Hon. Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala appreciated God Almighty for the gift of life, health and opportunities to serve his people at different levels.
While commending Gamzaki Solidarity Group for taking him unaware by organizing the birthday party, Barrister Ayala appreciated all who participated and contributed to the success of the occasion.
Responding to the Tangale-Waja youths, women, elders and stakeholders’ request to run for the Balanga-Ɓilliri Federal Constituency in 2027, Hon. Rambi said he is ever ready not only to serve his people, but ensure their fair share is allocated.
“With regard to your calls come 2027, I think Tangale shouldn’t be barb in their absence. Let them be part and parcel, let them be on the negotiation table to chart on what affects them and their future. It’s not about me, in the next political suspension Tangale nation should rise up for the challenge. I believe APC will allocate Tangale its fair share as it was in last political dispensation”.
He assured of his total support and cooperation to whoever is giving the opportunity from the Tangale nation.
“We have listened to our people, we believe in what the Tangale nation is saying at the moment. The Tangale nation is poised, prepared and determined that, by 2027, anybody who wants to be a friend of Tangale should stand by Tangale nation. Whoever Tangale puts forward, we are together with him/her at whatever level. I shall remain loyal to the voices of Tangale elders, whoever they put forward for us, me and my entire supporters shall rally behind him”.
While appreciating Tangale-Waja elders for the advise and guidance they always put him through, Barrister Ayala prayed and wished well for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on their commitments to providing dividends of democracy to Gombe People and Nigerians.
The celebrant commended the governor for providing a level playing ground for political activities to take shape in the state.
He appreciated the Governor Yahaya for the peace and infrastructural development he has been providing to Gombe State, encouraging him to continue without fear or favour.
During the celebration, the district Head of Toɗi in Ɓilliri Local Government crowned the celebrant with yet another traditional title of ‘Gado da Masun Toɗi’, a development that added another feather to his series of traditional titles.
Special birthday gifts and well wishes were presented to the celebrant by groups and individuals, a salute that added color to the natal day celebration.
