The Northeast Youth Reformation Forum, “Mafita Ga Matasan Arewa Maso Gabas”, has mourned the death of Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya, describing it as a great loss to the nation.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Forum Comrade Jibrin Hussaini Kundum, described the Late Emir as leader par excellence, who contributed immensely to the development of traditional institution in northern Nigeria through the promotion of peace, unity, and tackling security challenges in his domain.
The Forum’s Chairman, Comrade Abdul’razak Sani Albani, commiserated with Northeast State Governors, particularly Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi over the irreparable loss.
The forum also prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The 88-year-old monarch died after a protracted illness, leaving behind a 46-year legacy of exemplary leadership.
