…As Mauɗo Dedicates Award To Gov Inuwa Yahaya, Pledges To Do More On Devt Control

The Executive Chairman Gombe State Urban Planning and Development Authority (GOSUPDA) Alhaji Bappayo Samanja Mauɗo (the Turaki Babba of Gombe) has been recognized and presented with an award by an Abuja based Non Governmental Organization Advocacy for Peace and Value Re-orientation.
During the presentation of the award by the Executive Director of the organization Comrade Abubakar Oyibio, he said the organization has been monitoring transformations in the areas of town planning and beautification efforts of Gombe State and other Northeastern states.
He said findings revealed that GOSUPDA emerged the overall development control agency in the entire sub region, maintaining that following a successful monitoring of success stories in operation and leadership of the development control agencies in the region, certificate of honour is being presented based on merit.
The director noted that in conformity with the laid down parameters, GOSUPDA emerged the overall development agency in Northeast due to focused and purposeful leadership it enjoy.
Responding, the Executive Chairman Gombe State Urban Planning and Development Authority Bappayo Samanja Mauɗo appreciated the organization for identifying him with the award, assuring to uphold the policies of the Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya led administration.
The chairman dedicated the award to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for finding him worthy to handle such sensitive office in the state.
He assured people of the state of his rededication to the town planning guidelines within the state.
Goodwill messages were presented by the Director Planning Abubakar Jatau and the Director Administration and Finance of the agency.
During the award presentation ceremony, the awardee was supported by all directors in agency as well as the state NLC Chairman.
The Executive Director Advocacy for Peace and Value Re-orientation was accompanied to Gombe by Miss Saudat AbdulSalam from Kogi State, Miss Blessing Ogbolo from Lagos, Mr Abdulbasit Asugbo and Miss Hussaina Adams.
