Governor Yahaya Hails Farin Gani Travel as Firm Opens Gombe Branch

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has commended Farin Gani Travel and Tours Nigeria Limited for establishing a branch in the state, describing the development as a major boost to transportation services, Hajj and Umrah operations, and employment opportunities for residents.

The Governor made the remarks during a goodwill visit to the company’s office at Alhajiyel Plaza, EFCC Junction, Gombe.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Abubakar Ibrahim Njoɗi, Governor Yahaya praised the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Alhaji Sulaiman Garba, for expanding the business to Gombe.

“This investment is a welcome development for our state. It will not only make travel easier for our people, particularly those embarking on Hajj and Umrah, but will also contribute to economic growth and create employment opportunities,” the Governor said.

He expressed confidence that the company would continue to expand its operations while contributing meaningfully to the state’s development.

The Governor also urged the management to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in its operations and to give priority to qualified indigenes of Gombe in employment.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Farin Gani Travel and Tours Nigeria Limited, Alhaji Sulaiman Garba, expressed appreciation to Governor Inuwa Yahaya for the visit, describing it as “a great morale booster for young entrepreneurs committed to bringing development to Gombe State.”

He disclosed that the company currently has about 40 staff providing services to prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, as well as a wide range of international travel solutions.

Alhaji Garba assured the public that the company would operate in strict compliance with government policies and the regulations of relevant authorities.

He also commended the Gombe State Government for providing an enabling business environment that allows investors and entrepreneurs to thrive in peace and comfort.
