A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and philanthropist, Dr. Bala Bello Tinka, has lauded the political class in Gombe State for setting aside party differences in the interest of peace, unity, and development.

Dr. Tinka made the remarks while addressing newsmen during a wedding reception he organized in honour of the daughter of former Gombe State Governor, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwanbo, held in the state capital.

He commended the political maturity displayed by top leaders and stakeholders across party lines who graced the occasion, describing their presence as a strong signal of unity and political tolerance.

Dr. Tinka, a close associate of Senator Dankwanbo, said the collaborative spirit among Gombe politicians reflects a growing commitment to prioritising the state’s progress above partisan interests.

According to him, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and other dignitaries have demonstrated true leadership by embracing unity, which he said is critical to development at all levels.

He urged the newlywed couple to imbibe values of patience, tolerance, and mutual respect, which he described as the bedrock of a successful marriage and a peaceful society.

In his vote of thanks, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwanbo expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Bala Tinka for his magnanimity and warm hospitality, describing the gesture as a mark of honour and respect.

Senator Dankwambo appreciated the emir of Gombe Alhaji Abubakar shehu Abubakar III he played throughout the event, He also acknowledged the goodwill and support of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, whose contributions, he said, exemplify true statesmanship.

He stressed that such collective goodwill is vital for fostering unity and achieving meaningful development across the state.
