He said three of the suspects who specialized in vandalizing critical government infrastructure were arrested along Liji Railway Track in Yamaltu Deba Local Government Area with 42 pieces of railway iron sleepers concealed inside a white pick-up van loaded with sand in disguise.

The PPRO equally said the command has arrested three rape suspects, one being an elder of about 50 years for raping a girl twice in his residence.

The other suspect was arrested for fingering a young girl when he lured her to a corner at Hammadukafi Quarters of Gombe Metropolis.

The last rape suspect was a 13 year old boy, who was accused of forcing an eight year old girl to a corner in Batari Quarters Kumo, and had canal knowledge with her.

The PPRO equally paraded a kidnap suspect arrested in Zange Forest of Dukku Local Government Area, who was found in custody of a woman kidnapped from Akkoyel Village.

He said the command is on its toes to ensure the remaining three accomplices who are at large, are brought to book.

Buhari Abdullahi said the suspects will soon be charged to court upon completion of investigations.

While reiterating the command’s commitments to tame crimes and criminality in the bud, the police image maker called on the good people of Gombe State to always cooperate and provide the command with credible information on any suspicious movement of person(s) around.
