The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Office in Gombe State has alerted members and the public of the activities of some people it termed “unpatriotic individuals” collecting people voter cards information.
In a statement signed and made available to Jewel Times, the party’s State Publicity Secretary Abdulkadir Ahmad Dukku, said “Reports reaching the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Office, Gombe State reveals that a group of unpatriotic individuals are going round in some local government areas of the state to smear the people of their civic rights.

The reports further indicates that the fraudsters who parade themselves as
politicians use to persuade innocent eligible voters by collecting their voter’s card and National identification Number (NIN) at the polling units for a token of money”.
The Gombe State PDP Office states categorically that the individuals are not
real politicians and their fraudulent act is undemocratic.

The party office therefore warns its members and the general public to be on the watch for such individuals.
“Whoever surrenders this vital information to such individuals has forfeited his right to vote”, the PDP Office added.
The party strongly disassociates itself from such act describing it as an act of robbery against democracy.
