Gombe NSCDC Commences Training of Private Guards

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command has commenced a two-week training program for 48 private guards from 13 different private guard companies (PGCs).

A statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the corps’ Public Relations Officer SC Buhari Saad, said “The training, presently ongoing at the Federal Secretariat Gombe, was declared open by the State Commandant, CC Jibrin Idris, represented by DCC Abubakar Y. Muri, the Command’s 2nd-in-Command”.

During his remarks, DCC Muri highlighted the objectives of the training, emphasizing the need for discipline and charging the trainees to take the program seriously.

He urged them to rededicate themselves to effective service delivery in the industry.

The event was attended by the head of Private Guards Companies DCC Jimoh Otaru, heads and other senior officers of the command.
