Gombe LG Chair Charges All Motor Parks In Gombe Metropolis To Quickly Relocate To Dankwambo Ultramodern Park

The Chairman Gombe Local Government Council and Gombe State ALGON Chairman Barrister Sani Amadu Haruna, has called on drivers and leaders of various motor park unions in Gombe Metropolis to quickly relocate to the newly completed Ibrahim Ɗankwambo Ultramodern Motor Park for improved security and safety in the state.

 

The chairman made the call during an interview with newsmen in his office.

 

He said “The relocation of the parks will facilitate orderliness, safety, improve societal discipline and strengthen security in Gombe metropolis and beyond”.

 

Barrister Sani Haruna appealed to leadership of the various motor park unions to comply with the state government directives to ensure sanity in the system.

 

He said early relocation to the new park will give the unions upper chances of getting better locations for their businesses.

 

The ALGON chair said a taskforce has been constituted to ensure total compliance, warning that erring drivers and unions will face the full wrath of the law.

 

He said “The affected parks include those at Rainbow Roundabout along Bauchi Road, Jiyamere along Kano Bypass, Tumfure along Bauchi Road, New Mile 3 1&2 along Yola Road, Darazawa at Jekadafari, A.G. Ɗalibi Roundabout 1&2 near Gombe Main Market, Dadaleso at Jekadafari, Tashan Shongo at Jekadafari, Rumbuna along Dukku Road, Kalshingi Junction New Liji, Yan Kananzir at Gombe Main Market, Daban Rake and A.Y. Guest House parks near Dukku Motor Park, as well as Tashan Roka near Gombe Main Market”.

 

The chairman stressed that the measure is taken for the best interest of the state and its citizens.
