Gombe Devt, People’s Interests Top Jamil Gwamna’s Priorities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate for 2027 gubernatorial election in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Gwamna Dr. (Sardaunan Gombe) has reaffirmed his commitment to putting Gombe first and building a united, inclusive, and prosperous state.

 

A statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Media Aide to Dr. Jamil Gwamna, Ibrahim Sani Shawai said the candidate.ade this known while speaking to party members, stakeholders, and the good people of the state, where Gwamna emphasised that his aspiration was driven by a deep sense of responsibility, humility, and dedication to the collective progress of Gombe State.

 

According to him, “Gombe First is not just a slogan, it is a commitment to place the interests of Gombe people above all. It means Gombe first in development, unity, and opportunity for all.”

 

Gwamna assured citizens that his administration would be people-centered and inclusive, where no one is left behind regardless of background, gender, or social status.

 

He pledged to create a government where every voice matters and every citizen has a role to play in governance.

 

Extending an olive branch to fellow aspirants, Gwamna described them as partners in progress rather than opponents.

 

“We all share a common goal, the development of Gombe State. I extend my hand of partnership to all aspirants. Together, we are stronger,” he stated.

 

Gwamna commended the achievements of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, noting that his administration has laid a solid foundation for growth and stability.

 

He stressed that his leadership would focus on consolidating these gains while accelerating development across critical sectors such as education, healthcare, human capital, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

 

Gwamna also reiterated his commitment to aligning Gombe State with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

He noted that this alignment would enhance economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve the overall standard of living for the people of Gombe State.

 

The APC candidate promised a government that listens, acts, and delivers tangible results.

 

Gwamna called on the people of Gombe State to embrace unity, progress, and purposeful leadership.

 

“This is our moment to choose unity over division, progress over politics, and leadership that truly works for the people,” he said.

 

He urged citizens to join hands in building a stronger and more prosperous Gombe State.
