The Joint Tax Board which is a tripartite body comprising of the Federal Government, Federal Road Safety Corps and the State Board of internal Revenue has approved a new price for the issuance of Driver’s License and Vehicle Number plates.
This was according to a press statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Public Realtions Officer of the corps SRC Janet Kassa on Wednesday.

“To this end, the Sector Commander Samson Kaura through the Command Public Relations Officer emphasized the importance and need for motorist in Gombe State to be aware and to ensure their vehicles are properly registered and to drive with the class of license expected”, the statement demanded.
He added that the inevitable price adjustment will enable Federal Road Safety Corps to meet up with the present production cost realities and improve service delivery.
Commander Kaura therefore, urged the motoring public to note the effective date for the implementation of the new prices as April 1st, 2025.
