As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, the Hamma Saleh Memorial Foundation, under the leadership of its founder, Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Gombe State, particularly across its 11 local government areas.
In a press statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Foundation’s State Coordinator, the organization described the Eid-El-Kabir celebration as a period of deep reflection, gratitude, and unity among Muslims.
It emphasized the significance of the season, which commemorates the sacrifice and unwavering faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), as a time to strengthen obedience to God, promote peace, and support societal progress.
“This joyous occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and celebration with loved ones, as well as a moment to offer prayers for national development,” the statement read. “We commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, which reminds us of the importance of faith, obedience, and sacrifice in our daily lives.”
The Foundation called on citizens of Gombe State to continue supporting the efforts of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), especially the two Senators and five House of Representatives members representing the state. The statement urged unity and cooperation among the people to ensure the continued progress and success of the party at all levels ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh also extended his heartfelt wishes to Nigerian pilgrims performing the Hajj in Saudi Arabia, praying for a safe and accepted pilgrimage.
He encouraged the pilgrims to remember Nigeria in their prayers, particularly praying for peace, unity, and stability in Gombe State and the country at large.
“Development and peace are intertwined. Without peace, progress is impossible,” Alhaji Hamma Saleh said. He stressed that only through a stable and united society can sustainable development be achieved.
He also expressed gratitude to the leader of the PDP in Gombe State, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, for his dedication to the party’s growth. He called on all party stakeholders to rally behind the leadership and continue fostering unity and understanding within the PDP.
Alhaji Hamma Saleh also appreciated all PDP executives at the ward, local government, and state levels for their commitment and sacrifices.
The Foundation wished all Muslims in Gombe State and beyond a peaceful and blessed Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
“May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers. Let us continue striving for peace and development in Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
