Dangote Palliative: Khadija Orphanage Support Initiative Delivers 2000 Bags In Karu LGA

In the heartlands of Nigeria, amidst sprawling villages and communities, a remarkable tale of compassion and solidarity unfolded, transcending borders and inspiring hope. Khadija Orphanage Support Initiative, in partnership with the Aliko Dangote Foundation, embarked on a mission of mercy, delivering vital sustenance to those most in need.

Led by the organization’s Founder, Hajiya Adama Ahmed, and supported by Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Alh Auwal Bashir, the initiative’s dedicated team ventured tirelessly into remote villages, bringing not just relief but also warmth to those they encountered.

Hajiya Adama Ahmed, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “We extend our deepest appreciation to the Dangote Foundation for their invaluable support in providing the relief materials that have made this initiative possible. Additionally, we are profoundly grateful to the Governor A.A Sule, through the Commissioner for Humanitarian and NGOs, Hon. Margaret Itake Elayo for their unwavering support and partnership throughout this journey. Together, we have shown that solidarity and compassion can truly make a difference in the lives of those in need.”

The impact of their efforts reverberated across communities, with recipients expressing profound gratitude for the support received. The distribution of rice and millet brought joy and relief, underscoring the power of collective action in times of adversity.

With the backing of the Nasarawa State Government, led by Governor Engr Abdullahi Audu Sule through Honorable Commissioner for Humanitarian and NGOs, Hon. Margrate Itake Elayo, the initiative’s reach extended even further, ensuring that no vulnerable individual was left behind.

Beyond mere sustenance, the initiative’s commitment to holistic support was evident in their provision of school uniforms for children, reflecting a deep-seated dedication to community welfare.

Some beneficiaries who spoke with Jewel Times expressed gratitude for the gesture “The support from Dangote has brought joy and relief to our homes,” remarked grateful beneficiaries. “Their efforts have not only filled our stomachs but also warmed our hearts, reminding us that compassion knows no bounds.”
