Political actors in Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State have pledged continuous support to Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s mission to run for president in the forthcoming general elections.
This commitment was made during a grassroots mobilization, sensitization, and award presentation ceremony organized by the Bauchi State Chapter of the PDP National Youth Vanguard at the Bogoro Local Government Secretariat.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the PDP Elders Forum in Bogoro LGA, Mr. Baba Danrimi, said the developmental projects executed by the state governor leave them with no option but to support Governor Bala Muhammad’s bid for the 2027 Presidential Election.
He specifically highlighted the governor’s achievements in the health, education, and agricultural sectors, facilitated through their lawmaker, Musa Wakili Nakwada, who represents Bogoro Constituency at the state assembly.
In his speech earlier, the State Coordinator of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Youth Vanguard, Alhaji Danlami Adamu Muhammad, stated that their presence in Bogoro was aimed at mobilizing support for the PDP at all levels and inaugurating the executives of the PDP Youth Vanguard in Bogoro local government.
He announced that the state chapter of the PDP National Youth Vanguard had honored Musa Wakili Nakwada with an award for his commitment and humanitarian services, encouraging him to continue in delivering his political ambitions.
To this end, The Executive Chairman of Bogoro Local Government, Surveyor Lawi Yakubu Sumi, appreciated the PDP National Youth Vanguard, Bauchi State Chapter, for choosing Bogoro to host the event, describing the local government as a PDP stronghold.
He urged the communities in Bogoro to live in peace with one another to propel the local government to greater heights.
In his vote of thanks, Musa Wakili Nakwada appreciated the PDP National Youth Vanguard for the award and promised to maintain a strong relationship with the group in their bid to support Governor Bala Muhammad’s presidential aspirations in the 2027 General Elections.
