The Rector, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi Dr. Hashim Sabo Bello has called on the newly matriculated students of the polytechnic to be dedicative to during their studies.
Dr. Hashim Sabo Bello represented by his deputy Alawiyyatu Musa made the call during the matriculation ceremony of 1452 admitted students for 2024/2025 academic session, held at the five hundred seater lecture hall of the institution.
According to him, matriculation is a cardinal requirement for qualifying any admitted student as a bona-fide member of any tertiary institution.
He noted that ATAP remain committed not only to give students access to quality knowledge but also to help in moulding their characters so that they become responsible citizens of the country.
The Rector reiterated the institution’s zero tolerance to all kind of vices such as cultism, exam malpractice, sexual harassment, drug abuse, indecent dressing, vandalism and truancy.
Dr. Sabo Bello appreciated the support of Governor Bala Muhammad efforts towards the provision of physical infrastructures such as construction of access road network, acquisition of land for the expansion of the institution, provision of funds for accreditation among others.
