Bauchi Councillors Commend Governor Bala’s Leadership Style

The Forum of Bauchi State Local Governments Councils Members has expressed appreciation for Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad’s leadership style, highlighting his commitment to providing dividends of democracy to the citizenry.

This commendation was made during a one-year anniversary celebration of councillors in office, held at the Conference Hall of Bauchi Local Government Secretariat.

The Forum Chairman, Hon. Khalid Umar Muhammad, stated that the meeting aimed to declare a vote of confidence in Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad and Bauchi Local Government Chairman who doubles as ALGON Chairman, Alhaji Mahmoud Babamaji Abubakar.

He commended Babamaji as an excellent leader who has supported the 323 councillors in carrying out their duties effectively in their respective constituencies.

Khalid emphasized that the councillors are committed to mobilizing people in both rural and urban communities to continue endorsing and praying for Governor Bala Muhammad.

 

 

He added that the councillors will work tirelessly to ensure the success of the aspirant governor nominated by Bala Muhammad in the 2027 General Election.

In their remarks, the Secretary of the Forum, Hon. Mas’ud Hassan Ningi, Councillor representing Kundum/Durum Ward Abubakar Adamu, and Aishatu Muhammad Gwani Councillor representing Makama “A” of Bauchi and Ningi Local Governments promised to continue supporting Governor Bala Muhammad.

They advised the forum to collaborate with the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for effective service delivery.

The Bauchi State Forum of Councillors also congratulated Alhaji Mahmoud Babamaji Abubakar on his new traditional title of Makaman Doka conferred on him by the Bauchi Emirate Council.
