In a gesture to round off the 2024 Accident Victims’ Remembrance Week, the Road Safety Officers’ Wives Association (ROSOWA) Gombe State Chapter has supported and prayed for accident victims and patients at the Gombe State Specialist Hospital.

 

Speaking to newsmen during the visit, the State ROSOWA Chairperson Madam Rahila Apaji, said “This effort is to sympathize, support, encourage and pray with accident victims and other patients as part of our 2024 Accident Victims Remembrance Week”.

The chairperson equally sympathized with families of those who lost their loved ones in accidents, praying for God Almighty to console and give them courage to bear pains.

 

She appreciated the warm reception accorded to the team by the management of the state specialist hospital, assuring of ROSOWA’s commitments to not only sustain but also expand the tempo.

Also speaking, the State Coordinator FRSC Special Marshall Mr Moses Obi Nnadi, said accidents are usually in the increase during the ember months, hence the FRSC’s accelerated commitments to reduce accidents to bearest minimum.

 

In his response, the Chief Medical Director Gombe State Specialist Hospital Dr Mu’azu Shu’aib represented by the Head of Nursing in the hospital Danladi Gambo, appreciated ROSOWA for its usual support to patients, praying for God Almighty to reward the association abundantly.

While encouraging the women group to continue on the gesture, the medical director charged other groups and associations to borrow leaf from ROSOWA.

 

In a vote of thanks on behalf of the benefitting patients, Baba Ahmad Tugga, expressed deep appreciation to ROSOWA praying for God Almighty to reward its efforts.

“We actually feel cared and loved, the way you purposely come to wish us well and to even support us with the little you can. This indeed showed that there are people outside who equally feel our pains. We say thank you and God bless”.

 

Special prayers were offered by the team for God’s quick healings to those on sick beds.
