The Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) Gombe State Command Muhammad Bello Muazu has reiterated the command’s readiness to nip criminals and criminalities surfacing in Tumfure areas and the state at large.
In a statement made available to Jewel Times by the corps, the commandant said, the command noticed that social vices are re-occuring in the area which go against to the law of the land, and culture of Gombe people.
Bello Muazu noted that “The command will embark on special patrol in Tumfure starting from today Wednesday, we therefore advise the good citizens to close their lawful businesses by 10:00pm for a successful operations, and to avoid any embarrassment, NSCDC has no intention to harass any body”.
The NSCDC state commandant sought for support and cooperation from the traditional and community leaders as well as the residents of Tumfure to successfully flush out criminals in the society.
Muazu said the command will not hesitate to deal with any body found wanting within the ambit of the law.
