The Chairman Gombe State Urban Planning and Development Authority (GOSUPDA) Alhaji Bappayo Samanja Maudo (Turaki Babba of Gombe) has renewed his APC membership card in his Shamaki Ward of Gombe Local Government.
The membership renewal which took place at his residence, the GOSUPDA boss said Gombe Government under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has break the history of what’s called dividends of democracy.
“His work has reached nooks and crannies of our state, this make the opposition mute, speechless and some among them have since defected to APC as they witnessed the tremendous development brought in by the APC administration under Inuwa Yahaya.
Samanja said “If there’s any place that deserved to be one party system is Gombe, the Governor who won under the APC has no political bias in terms of infrastructural developments within the state.
He urged all party members to rally round the governor, so he can select a competent hand who shall continue from where Governor Yahaya stops.
Speaking to journalists during the event, the Zonal Women Leader Gombe North, Hajiya Aisha Musa Yusuf (Jinjira), said they can proudly raise shoulders that Gombe is the luckiest states in the north and Nigeria.
“Everywhere you go, people are asking about how the Governor is transforming Gombe State to next level in all sectors”.
She insisted that the e-registration exercise is going smoothly beyond expectations.
The state organising secretary Alhaji Ibrahim Musa (Bakas) supported by the Shamaki Ward APC Chairman Sani Nagongola officially presented the new card to Alhaji Bappayo MauÉ—o.
Others who graced the event include Alhaji Buba Sharu, an APC stakeholder from Shamaki Ward, the councillor representing Shamaki Ward Abdurraman Abubakar Sharu (Dan Buba), GOSUPDA staff and many other party supporters.
