The Gombe State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Muhammadu Gambo Magaji has renewed his membership registration with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his Dukku constituency, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots participation in the ruling party.

Addressing party members and residents at the Emir’s palace shortly after a courtesy visit on the emir, Magaji emphasized the importance of mass registration into the APC, noting that the number of registered members in an area reflects its population strength and helps attract more development projects.

According to him, “Increased party registration would not only consolidate the APC’s presence in Dukku but also enhance our chances of benefiting from additional government interventions”.

In his remarks, the Emir of Dukku, Alhaji Abdulkadir Haruna Rasheed, highlighted several development projects executed by the Gombe State Government in Dukku Emirate, commending the administration for its commitment to improving the welfare of the people.

Also speaking, an APC chieftain in Gombe State, Ibrahim Bakas, described the Finance Commissioner as a committed and people-oriented politician, praising his consistent engagement with the people of Dukku beyond election periods.

Bakas appealed to the Emir and other stakeholders in the area to continue supporting Magaji in his efforts to serve the people and promote development.

After the palace visit, the commissioner inspected the ongoing APC membership registration exercise at the palace entrance before proceeding to his Dugge Ward, where he officially renewed his party membership.

Gambo Magaji was accompanied by Commissioners for Science and Technology, Information and Culture, Solid Minerals, Water Resources and Forestry, Youth Development, as well as special advisers to the governor on security matters.
