The Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi State for his commitment to grassroots development.
The emir made the expression when the governor commissioned two major road projects in Dass Local Government Area, which are expected to boost economic activities and improve the quality of life of the residents.
Speaking on behalf of the Emir, the Garkuwan Dass, Muhammad Yunusa, who is also the Bauchi State President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), praised Governor Bala Muhammad’s leadership style, describing it as “commendable” and “life-touching”.
“Governor Bala Muhammad’s dedication to developing Dass LGA is evident in these projects,” Comrade Yunusa said. “We appreciate his commitment to improving the lives of our people,” added.
The commissioned projects include Dass Township Road; a 5-kilometer road that connects the town to major economic hubs; Dom-Dabo Road; a 3-kilometer road that links rural communities to the town.
The NULGE State President also praised the Executive Chairman of Dass Local Government, Muhammad Abubakar Jibo, for complementing the Governor’s efforts and demonstrating exemplary leadership.
“Chairman Jibo’s partnership with the Governor has yielded remarkable results, and we appreciate his dedication to our community,” Comrade Yunusa added.
Governor Bala Muhammad expressed delight at the commissioning of the projects, saying, “We are committed to delivering projects that impact the lives of our people positively. We will continue to work with stakeholders to ensure sustainable development in Bauchi State.”
