The Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has felicitate with Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el Fitr which marks the end of the 30 days Ramadan fast.
In a statement signed and made available to Jewel Times by the Information Officer SSG’s office Joshua Danmalam, Professor Njoɗi congratulated muslims in Gombe State and beyond on the successful completion of Ramadan urging them to bring to bare the lessons of the period into their daily activities.
The Statement specifically felicitates with Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Emir of Gombe Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar, the Mai Kaltungo Engineer Saleh Mohammed, emirs & chiefs, the Chief Judge and Grand Khadi, the Speaker and members of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Members of the State Executives Council as well as local government council Chairmen.
He further enjoined residents of Gombe State to keep praying for the peace and stability of the state while supporting government policies and programs.
Professor Ibrahim Njodi alongside the Mai Kaltungo Engr Sale Mohammed had earlier joined thousands of Muslim faithful to observe the two raka’at eid prayers led by the Kaltungo Chief Imam Sheikh Muhammad Isah at the Kaltungo Eid Prayer Ground.
The SSG further conveyed Governor Yahaya’s message of goodwill to the people during the joyous occasion at the Mai Kaltungo Palace.
The peaceful Sallah celebration in Kaltungo was witnessed by the State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Mohammed Dantata Ndus, Chairman Kaltungo LGA Honourable Dr Iliya Suleiman, some government officials and high profile personalities of the Maidom.
