In the spirit of this year’s Christmas celebrations, Bayo Mark, a keen supporter and loyalist to the Chief Whip of the 10th Assembly and Member Representing Akko Federal Constituency Honourable Usman Bello Kumo, has distributed rice and Maggi seasonings to over 100 less privileged women and people with disabilities in Ɓilliri Local Government Area to put smiles on their faces during Christmas.
Speaking during the distribution, Bayo said the initiative was born out of his strong support for Usman Bello Kumo, considering his numerous development projects and community support in his constituency.
He noted that “From my years of political experience, I knew no member of the Federal House of Representatives that performed wonderfully in key sectors like the chief whip of the tenth assembly” .
Bayo revealed that the initiative was part of his little contributions to support the political movement of his masters, Barrister Rambi Ibrahim Ayala and Usman Bello Kumo, noting that he believed strongly in their political manifestations of serving people from the grassroots, hence his little effort to compliment what they have been doing.
While assuring to sustain the tempo, the young philanthropist noted that “This gesture is just the beginning”.
In his address, the Village of Komta Mr. Mela Kilang, commended Bayo Mark for the foresight, noting that “This initiative indicates a good beginning you copied from your good political masters – Rambi Ibrahim Ayala and Usman Bello Kumo”.
He commended Usman Bello Kumo for his unique representation to Akko people, calling on other politicians across the state to borow leaf from the Chief Whip.
He charged the beneficiaries to remember Bayo Mark and Usman Bello Kumo in their prayers especially as they mark this important season of love and spiritual renewal.
In his submission, the Deputy Chairman Usman Bello Kumo Social Media Team Hon. Usman Mangadu Kumo who led a strong team to witness to event, appreciated Bayo Mark for the initiative, describing it as a challenge to all loyalists and supporters of Usman Bello Kumo especially in his hometown.
He noted Usman Bello Kumo was delighted when he was briefed of the Bayo’s initiative, assuring to equally support young philanthropists like Mark to their fullest.
Mangadu noted that Kumo and Ɓilliri people are brothers and sisters, and would forever remain brothers keepers for the socioeconomic development of the state.
Some beneficiaries at the event appreciated Mark for the benevolence, praying for God to reward and guide his ways.
They said the gesture has left an indelible mark in their hearts by putting smiles into their faces, assuring to pray and support Usman Bello Kumo in all aspects possible.
