Arrangements have been concluded for the 8th, 9th and 10th combined convocation ceremony of Sa’adu Zungur University, scheduled to hold on Saturday at its Main Campus, Gadau.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Fatima Tahir made the disclosure during a press briefing at the senate conference hall of the University.
She explained that a total of 11,813 are graduating, with 8387 males and 3426 females for 8th, 9th and 10th combined convocation ceremony.
Professor Fatima Tahir explained that “about 216 graduated with first class honours, 3,438 with second class upper division, 5,603 graduated with second class lower division”.
She added that, 2,353 graduated with third class honours, while 243 two hundred and fourty three graduated with pass.
The SAZU Boss, said the university produced a total of 443 at the postgraduate level, with 25 PhDs, 145 Academic Masters, 241 Professional Masters and 32 Postgraduate Diplomas.
Professor Fatima Tahir examined that the 2023/2024 academic session has also recorded the highest number of postgraduate graduands with 182.
To this end, the 8th, 9th and 10th combined convocation ceremony of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), will be chaired by the former Deputy Governor, Bauchi State, Architect. Abdu Sule Katagum.
