…Governor Yahaya’s Projects Boost Youth Employment, Says Commissioner

The Concrete Casting Multipurpose Cooperative Society of Nigeria, Gombe State Branch, has empowered over 700 members to support their livelihoods and improve their standard of living.
Speaking during the society’s first anniversary celebration, the State Chairman Ɗahiru Abdullahi stated that the association has recorded tremendous success within its first year.
He noted that the organization spent over nine million, six hundred and fifty thousand Naira (N9,650,000) to support members, particularly vulnerable individuals and orphans of deceased members.
Abdullahi further explained that under his leadership, the association provided financial assistance for the school fees of 48 children of deceased members. He added that over 3,000 vulnerable members are set to benefit from the association’s food assistance program.
The chairman emphasized that the association currently cares for more than 216 orphans enrolled into schools across the state.
He expressed appreciation for the contributions of Idle Crystal, under the leadership of Alhaji Ahmad Isa, who secured admission and sponsored two members through their graduation at Bayero University, Kano. He also extended gratitude to the Galadiman Gombe for sponsoring six members to graduation at the Federal University of Kashere. “We now have seven graduates ready for any job opportunities,” he noted.
In addition to these educational milestones, the association purchased a concrete mixer to expand members’ business activities and distributed food items to vulnerable members and orphans.
The high point of the event was the symbolic presentation of two brand-new motorcycles, 500 bags of rice, maize, and guinea corn, a concrete mixer machine, and the distribution of 200 pieces of wrappers and Shadda to vulnerable members.
In his remarks, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Adamu Inuwa Pantami, commended the association for looking after the welfare and development of its members.
He stated that the numerous projects executed by the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya have created significant job opportunities for the state’s youths, particularly bricklayers, masons, and concrete mixers.
Represented by his Personal Assistant, Muhammad Buba Adamu, the Commissioner said, “Most of the projects implemented under Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s administration have consistently provided job opportunities for members of this association.”
He concluded by noting that “whenever the government awards contracts for the renovation or construction of new schools and road projects, your members are among the primary beneficiaries.”
