…Attributes Political Alignment to Gov. Inuwa Yahaya’s Development Strides
Renowned academic, Technocrat and community leader, Professor Ismail Musa Jibrin has formally renewed his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwami Ward of Kwami Local Government Area of Gombe State, drawing a large crowd of supporters, admirers, and party faithful to the palace of the Emir of Kwami.
The event, which witnessed an overwhelming show of solidarity, marked Professor Jibrin’s public reaffirmation of loyalty to the ruling party and his renewed commitment to serving his people at the grassroots.
Addressing the gathering, Professor Jibrin said, after years of academic and professional pursuits across different parts of the world – including the United States of America, Saudi Arabia, and other countries; “I have returned home with renewed resolve to contribute more meaningfully to the development of Kwami and Gombe State at large”.
He explained that his decision to align with the APC was inspired by the development strides and governance style of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, whom he credited with delivering tangible dividends of democracy across the state, particularly in Kwami Local Government Area.
According to him, the people of Kwami are united in purpose and firmly committed to supporting Governor Inuwa Yahaya and the APC, stressing that Governor Inuwa is the compass of their political journey.

Professor Jibrin noted that Governor Inuwa Yahaya has consistently executed development projects in Kwami, ensuring that the area has not been neglected in terms of infrastructure development or leadership appointments.
He emphasised that no governor has shown the level of inclusiveness, care, and attention Kwami has enjoyed under the present administration.
He therefore called on the people of Kwami to remain united and continue to support Gombe’s Dan Maje the first, in order to sustain and consolidate the ongoing developmental initiatives across the state.
The professor also expressed gratitude to government officials, party leaders, traditional rulers, community stakeholders, and members of the public who attended the event and demonstrated their solidarity and support.
He assured that the people of Kwami would collectively stand by whomever Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya endorses, pledging overwhelming electoral support whenever required.
The event featured the formal registration of Professor Ismail Musa Jibrin as an APC member and the presentation of the party flag to him, symbolising his allegiance to the party.
Conducting the registration, the State APC Chairman represented by his deputy, Alhaji Baba Abuja, described the APC as the dominant political force in the State, attributing this to the impact of Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s administration, which he said surpassed the efforts of past administrations.
Several dignitaries delivered goodwill messages during the ceremony, including the Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, Engr. Maijama’a Kallamu; the Commissioner for Higher Education, Shattima Muhammad Gadam; Honourable Shuaibu Adamu, Member representing Kwami East, and Honourable Siddi Buba, Member representing Kwami West, among others.
