The Gombe State PDP Frontiers Support Group, has thrown its weight behind the party’s National Leader – the Honourable Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nyeson Wike, describing the him as bonafide member of the PDP from inception.
The group made its stand known during a stakeholders meeting in Gombe.
Speaking during the meeting, the Coordinator Gombe State PDP Frontiers Support group Comrade Auwal Ibrahim described Wike as backbone of the PDP.

“The Hon. Minister of the FCT has been the strong pillar that shouldered PDP for long in Nigeria, he is a bonafide member of our great party, therefore we are here to reiterate our unflinching support and loyalty to the Honourable Minister. PDP is a one, under his careful watch”.
The group disregarded the action of some people who claimed to have expelled Wike and others from the party, describing them as bogus, selfish and unpatriotic elements.
The forum which stressed its commitment to ensuring peace, unity and patriotism amongst party members at all levels, also reiterated its loyalty to the Chairman National Convention Committee Hon Abdulrahman Mohammed, his Secretary Senator Samuel Anyawu, and members of the committee Dr Grema Kyari and Hon. JunguÉ—o Mohammed Haruna.
Others who spoke during the meeting include Deputy State Coordinator of the group Alhaji Adamu Yau, State Youth Leader Hon. Baraya Musa Yahaya, State Women Leader Rahilla Polycarp, and other stakeholders unanimously passed vote of confidence in the party’s national leader, expressing optimism that PDP shall prosper and take Nigeria forward under the leadership of Wike.
