An APC stalwart in Tangale-Waja and Gombe State who doubles as the National Chairman of the APC Wing Progressive, Rear Admiral Othniel Gabdo Filafa Retired, has called on Tangale-Waja communities to support the development policies and initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for an all inclusive development of Gombe State and Nigeria.
Rear Admiral Filafa made the call on Wednesday during a consultative engagement with APC leadership and stakeholders at ward, local government and state level in Ɓaganje and Tal of Ɓilliri Local Government Area to discuss strategies that could forge the party ahead, from ward to national level.
He described the APC as the best citizens friendly party, whose manifesto is rooted in grassroots development.
The retired Navy officer noted that “Despite criticisms from some angles, the socioeconomic policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have started to yield positive results, the recent price crashes in fuel and food stuff are clear evidence”.
While maintaining that the president mean well for the common man, the APC stalwart urged Nigerians to disregard “selfish politicians” whose personal interests override that of the common man.
He commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his development strides across nook and cranny of the state, encouraging people of the state to continue supporting his policies and programs.
Rear Admiral Filafa appreciated the Governor for his recent creation of Local Council Development Areas, “This is a welcome development that will draw masses closer to the government”, he said.
In their respective addresses, the APC Chairman Ɓaganje Ward Abdullahi Ɗanɓoyi, his Ɓilliri Local Government counterpart Ishaka Zakari as well as the State Party Chairman Mr Nitte Amangal, appreciated Rear Admiral Gabdo Filafa for his zeal and commitments to the progress of the APC.
They assured him of their continuous support and commitment to make the party ganner more grounds in Tangale-Waja and the state at large.
