ATBU Commissions 19 projects, Urges Govt To Support Educational Institutions

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi has urged Federal and State Governments to support educational needs of institutions for the country to move forward.

The Vice Chancellor of the University professor Muhammad Ahmad Abdulaziz made the appeal during the commissioning of nineteen projects executed within five years as part of activities line up for its convocation ceremony held at Gubi Campus.

The Vice Chancellor who was represented by professor Sani Usman Kunya explained that, the nineteen projects include classes, clinic, store, library, staff rooms and offices among others spread across Gubi and Yelwa Campuses.

While commending MDAs for their contributions towards the actualisation of the commissioned projects, the Vice Chancellor assured the determination of ATBU’s support and cooperation to governments at all levels so as to achieved educational set objectives.

Professor Muhammad Ahmad Abdul’Aziz used the occasion to commend Bauchi State Government for its support to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University especially the construction of Gubi Campus main road and the ongoing desire to improve education standard in the state.

The projects were commissioned by Governor Bala Mohammad and Governor of Katsina state Dikko Rhadda as well as Emirs of Bauchi, Katagum and Misau amongst other dignitaries in attendance.
