GOSUPDA Demolishes Two More Gala Houses, Sends Strong Warning To Master Plan Defaulters

The Gombe State Urban planning and Development Authority (GOSUPDA) has removed all illegal kiosks and shanties attached to the newly constructed school of Nursing in Western Bypass.

GOSUPDA under the supervision of its Executive Chairman Alhaji Bappayo Samanja Maudo (Turaki Babba of Gombe) also demolished all beacons constructed at the Right of Way (ROW) of the school, this comes sequel to the directives by Gombe State Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya.

 

In another development and effort to discharging its duties and protecting urban planning and implementing a master plan, as well as improving revenue generation, the Authority led by the Chairman Alhaji Bappayo Samanja Maudo in company of the Chairman Taskforce Committee on Gala Houses Demolition Rtrd Captain Bitrus Bilal, has done it again as two more gala houses were knocked down by the team; IDD Hotel in Tumfure behind Progress Radio and Amdaku Guest INN BCGA Arfa Hospital Street.

During the exercise several arrests were made by the security agents including male and female teenagers.

 

During an interactive session with journalists some of the suspects Rabiu Amadu -19yrs, Aminu Musa -23yrs and Babayo Muhammad Sani 15yrs also a school drop out admitted that they were being sadistic by one Bappa Musa who is now at large.

The suspects said he brought them from Potiskum, Yobe State as traditional drugs sales agents and provided them with the accommodations in that hotel, take care of their feeding and other basic needs, but most of them have confessed that it’s their first time doing the ugly affair (Sodomy) and promised to repent.
