In a gesture of political patronage and welfare, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON has presented four brand new cars to four staunch supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Speaking on behalf of His Excellency Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Senior Special Adviser on General Duties, Sani Garba, stated that the APC-led Government of Gombe State has an effective, efficient, and consistent reward system.
He explained that so far, dozens of people have benefited from similar honoraria and gestures by His Excellency.
“In less than 24 hours after His Excellency was announced the winner after he was re-elected for a second term, he gifted a lot of cars to the party supporter who played a pivotal role in his re-election bid,” he said.
Sani Garba commended the effort of the governor in executing numerous development projects despite the meager resources at the disposal of the government.
He assured that the governor will continue to reward people who are resilient in their support for the government and the APC.
“The gesture is a continuous process, and the governor will continue until every responsible and active member of the party benefits,” he stated.
He stressed that the APC-led Government in Gombe State is running an inclusive governance where everybody is carried along including members of the opposition.
He maintained that the party’s political prowess is still strong and unshakable, and the party boasts of victory any day, any time an election is held.
In his remarks, the APC State Youth Leader, Kawu Lero, appreciated the commitment of the governor as the party leader in fostering an all-encompassing reward system that covers all groups and social categories.
He affirmed that the loyalty of youths remains steadfast with the governor, assuring those who are yet to receive rewards to exercise patience and await their turn.
Earlier in his welcome remarks, the APC Chairman of Gombe LGA, Alhaji Abubakar Danladi, appreciated the reward system implemented by the APC-led Government under Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
In his goodwill message, Buba Sharu, a party elder and stalwart, applauded the governor for catering to and caring for the party faithful who immensely contributed to the success of the party and the government.
“Many people have benefited from the reward system of the APC under the leadership of Governor Inuwa Yahaya,” Buba Sharu stated. “Some people have received motorcycles, cars, houses, and other numerous gifts and benefits.”
He called for continued support for the Inuwa-led Government to ensure the continued delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of Gombe State.
Also in his goodwill message, Malam Bashir Nuhu called for prayers and continued support for the governor to ensure the success of his administration in bringing development to the people of Gombe State.
The beneficiaries of the car gifts are: Bala Jantile, Yahaya Abdullahi West, Gambo Jeta, and Usama Doma Isari. The cars gifted include one 406 and three 206 models.
The event, held at APC Square, was witnessed by the State Secretary of the APC, Abubakar Umar S. Goro, Chairmen of trade organizations, party leaders at different levels, numerous supporters, and well-wishers.
